PostSubject: Thinning out the numbers   Thu Jul 15, 2010 5:22 am

Erik was walking behind Malikai Alanie, the person he was supposed to protect, at a steady pace. They were at an impertant meeting for the Templars and the meeting place was a giant cathedrial that was very maze like. It's hallways were decorated with past painting of characters that could be traced back to the 1600's. Although Erik ignored this. He was more interested in who would be a possible threat. His gaze flicked to an elderly man who was sitting on a bench they were about to walk by.

Erik instictavley put his hand on his dagger, but continued walking. The man seemed to notice this and he flinched, obviously a harmless old man that would be no threat.

Erik and Malikai made a few turns, up a case of stairs and there they were. Standing in front of huge double doors that opened up. They walked in and Erik looked and was immediatly unimpressed with what he saw.

Four men, about thirty-five to fourty-five years old and all in bad shape. The number of guards, weren't intimidating either. Eight of them, Erik included, and they looked like it was their first job. Erik couldn't help but wonder who was the target here.

===================

(Twelve hours ago)

Ezio stood in front of the Assassin(s) and was mildly impressed. He opened a drawer and pulled out a note. It had only a few words on it, that you could see through the parchment. He flipped it on the desk and showed a few orders.

It read, "Erik Navaro and anyone with him."

Ezio folded the parchment and handed it to the Assassin(s). "We all know that he prevents us from doing our job correctly. You must kill him, as well as anyone he was assigned to protect. That way we can kill two birds with one stone. Any questions?" Ezio asked.

(This is when your character will reply to Ezio.)

Kaihime looked at Ezio whom was maintaining eye contact with her, why did he always stare? was it because she was a threat or was it because she was a woman. Everyone knew of Ezio's reputation with women. Kaihime was new to the order or so it felt for her, she had lost her memory and had known nothing of her past. She had the skills as well as the items of an assasin and knew the sacred oath so it goes without question that she was once an Assassin. She looked and wondered if this was even the guild she was a member of? perhps it was another city she called home once. Sick of thinking of what could be she spoke "Do you have a plan?"

"Alas, I do not." Ezio sighed, "We only know where he is. Deal with him as you will, just make sure he's killed. And if you cannot do that, then kill the one he is assigned to protect. Leave no surviors. So basically, you must improvise on the plan as you see fit." Ezio stood from his chair and turned to look out the window. "Make sure you come back. I may send some more Assassins after you that will arrive later." he informed.

"Very little information to go on...least we have orders to improvise as we see fit..." Mahad said from his spot, arms crossed and looking ready to kill at any moment, he was always ready for an assignment, ready to push the Creed forward. "Is there anything else?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

"That is all." Ezio repiled, still stareing out the window, "Go now, expect reinforcments." Ezio finally said and waved them off.

Kaihime followed after Mahad as he left the room. This would her first time working with him and she wanted to lay down her rules. She turned to Ezio before closing the door behind them nodding her goodbye. "Mahad A word please?

Mahad stopped and turned to face Kaihime. "Yes, what is it?" he asked calmly, his tone slightly curious as he observed her patiently.

Mahad stared a moment. "We find the target and eliminate them." he replied as if it were obvious. "When we see the target, we will observe and wait for the moment to strike, how we do that will depend on the moment." he explained easily.

Kaihime felt like lashing out at the man, how dare he treat her like an idiot. She knew what she was doing. "Whatever have fun with that" She said as she walked off, she knew now why she worked better alone.

OOC: The setting.....okay, the men that are having a meeting, five of them all together sitting in the center of the room around a round table about four feet in diameter. The guards, seven of them, Erik excluded, are all how a guard would look on the game. Althought these guards aren't great at fighting. All wielding swords. Two are posisitioned at the door Erik walked in. Three on the other side of the room. One on each side of the room. Erik is sitting alone near the door. There aren't much stuff in the room, save for the chairs, table and bench Erik is sitting on.

The room is slightly big. About the size of a small house. Windows seven feet along the wall. A window posisitioned over the one guard each and a skylight ten feet on the roof over the table.

The roof is on top of the building. About fourty feet in the air. Has three archers on the building.

Outside the room is a staircase consisting of twenty steps. At the bottom of those steps are two guards. The surrounding hallways are long, twisting and maze-like and have guards scattered about the building.

I think that's all you need to know. So go ahead and do with it what you will.

Mahad stared at the building in question where the target was supposed to be, with a keen eye he observed the buildings entrances and exits. along with other means of leaving if things should get out of hand. "Why meet in a large structure like this?...You would figure a small bar or out of way house would be more inconspicious." he muttered, crossing his arms.

"i suppose they must be confident....the cockier they are the easier they fall" Kaihime took in the building before her, she had seen the three archers on the roof earlier when scouting.

"I'll take the roof" Kaihime spoke before taking off down the street to find a suitable building to use in order to leap onto the large building.

Erik wasn't really listening to the meeting, but was more concentrated on the windows and the only entrance to the room. Erik taught himself how to throw his dagger with great precision, but he didn't like the thought of throwing away one of his prized weapons.

Finally making it the roof Kaihime ook a breath of relief. She had no trouble getting there, luckily for her she was extremely agile and fast not to mention flexible which aided her in such things. Hanging from the ledge of the roof she was slowly and quietly waiting for the first archer to be in the right position. Lunging up from her hanging posititon she grabbed the man and pulled him over the ledge, wrapping her legs around his neck and tightening them until he stopped breathing. Looking down below her before dropping the body she saw that he would fall into a large haystack that was rather sheltered from sight. he couldnt have asked for a better fall point. Releasing her grip on the man's body Kaihime heaved herself to the roof and took shelter behind a conveniently placed crate. She could hear the other two archers talking to each other and slacking off on the job. "what do you think they are talking about in there?" "i dont know, but they must be important sure got alot of guards" Kaihime stood from her spot slowly, luckily for her they were both facing away and out into the city. Silently thanking them for making things easy for her Kaihime approached at lightning speed Sliding and crouching in between the two unsuspecting guards only to plunge one of her blades into each of the guards abdomen and Standing fast which caused her blades to slice through the guards. Withdrawing her blades she stood still watching as the guards dropped one after the other.

The roof was hers....

OOC: IM SO SORRY that was so badly written -_- but the basics are that kaihime has killed the three archers on the roof and now has control of the roof.

"Guess the front door is my way then..." he mumbled as Kaihime left, beginning his walk towards the building.

When he was at one of the entrances, glancing around he checked the door to find it locked. glancing around he brought out his dagger, slipping it between the door and frame, he found some leverage and pushed down on the dagger roughly. hearing the grating of metal he pushed the door open and walked inside to see a large hall. "Hmm..." he hummed lightly as he took in his surroundings.

Kaihime carefully approached the skylight that was on the roof. Crouching down she carefully looked into the room making sure to do so on an angle that those inside could not see her from. There was five men all together sitting in the center of the room around a round table about four feet in diameter. There was also seven guards and her target, the guards had swords strapped to their waists. Two at the entrence to the room, three of them were opposite the entrance and there was one on each side of the room. Her target was sitting on a bench near the entrance. Kaihime noticed instantly that the guards on the sides of the room had an immediate vunerability, they were stationed in front of a window. But with the room so tightly packed the others were bound to notice someone falling out of a window. She had two ways in from the roof, a window or the skylight. She thought on her options carefully, how could she thin out the numbers without alerting those inside? If she was working alone she wouldn't have to worry about jeopardising Mahad's safety through her actions, but this time she had to be careful in her actions so as not to do so.

OOC: Well I made it very assassin's creed-ish don't ya think. And Drake, there might be a few gurads patroling.....like now!

A pair of guards were doing their patrol. "This must be pretty important, if there are this many guards." one of them said.

"I agree, but not as much as multiple Templars." the other replied. They were nearing the entrance where Mahad had came in.

Mahad turned a corner and saw two guards, stopping and quickly back around the corner he took out several coins and dropped them, the resulting clang got the guards attention.

"What was that?"

"I don't know...go check it out!"

There was a mumble of discontent before footfalls began to approach Mahad's location, the guard turned the corner, barely recognizing the white hooded figure as an assassin before Mahad grabbed him and silenced him with a thrust of his sword, cry dying the guards mouth.

Letting the body fall Mahad quickly drew a throwing knife and turned the corner, with a flick of his arm the knife flew and embedded itself in the guards neck, killing him. "Hmm...the Templars should invest in better security." he muttered stepping over the body.

Kaihime decided to take out at least one of the guards, She climbed around the wall of the building and positioned herself under a window and an unsuspecting guard. As he turned around and faced his back toward the window she struck, grabbing him by the back of his armour and heaving him out of the window. Instead of hanging on to him and killing him she let the fall do it and took off back up to the roof before others came to investigate, which luckily wasnt far away. Safely back on the roof she could hear the commotion it caused in the room coming from the skylight.

Erik saw a hand come out and grab the guard, "Watch out!" he yelled, but was to late and the guard flew out the window. Erik sneered then looked at the other window then the skylight.

One of the guards from the three opposite to the entrance went to check the window. He looked out and saw the guard mangled on the ground, his neck in an unnatural angle. He looked up then to the sides and saw nothing. He cam back in and shaked his head, notifying his death.

By this time, the guards had drawn their swords and the meeting templars all went to a guard each. The ones at the door held their ground, but had turned to face the door and had drawn their swords as well. The guard at thge other window was far enough away from it to not get grabbed as well.

Erik had drawn his own sword as well and ordered the two guards to move aside. "Open the door and escort them," he motioned to the Templars, "out to a safe place." Erik looked to his own Templar that he needed to protect, "Go with them." he ordered, "I'll cover us from the back." he told them and the two guards went to open the door.

OOC: That's how I'd do it. We aren't stupid people like in the game XD We have brains so expect this to be hard! *Evil laughter* I mean, Habe fun Very Happy lol!

As soon as the doors opened Mahad was standing there, sword drawn and knife in hand. "Greetings..." swinging his blade he cut one guard's throat and then tossed the knife into another, taking the first two out and then glaring at the others.
